Biography:

1st daughter of David Howell

Note* Mary A. Howell married James A. Morgan. He died between 1836 and 1839. They had one son James Augustus Morgan. Mary got remarried to Peter Ferguson and had three additional children. She is named in a chancery suit in 1846 along with brothers Anthony, Robert, and sister Ann Marie and her husband Lemuel Britt. At this writing an effort is being made to get a copy of the suit. Her name also appears as an heir in Susannah Howell’s Last Will and Testament with Robert and Lemuel Howell as Executors of the Will.
