2nd daughter of David Howell

Ann Maria Howell was the second daughter of David Howell. According to census records, she was born about 1819. She was sometimes referred to as Annie. She married Lemuel G. Britt. Lemuel Britt was the brother of Nancy Britt who married Edwin Howell. Annie and Lemuel resided in the Newsoms, Virginia area of Southampton County. They had six children.

No further information has been found on Ann Maria Howell. Her name appears as an heir in Susannah Howell’s Last Will and Testament with brothers Robert S. and Lemuel J. Howell as Executors of the Will. The research continues.
